Giuseppe Sculli to Start for Lazio Against Bologna

Recently signed from Genoa, striker Giuseppe Sculli will be starting for Lazio on Sunday against Bologna in the Serie A. Reportedly, the fee was 3.5 million Euros.

A medical exam was scheduled for Tuesday in Rome after the announcement of the deal between the two clubs made Monday night.

29-year-old Sculli has not seen much playing field this season with Genoa as he has only made appearances in eight of the available 19 matches. He made no scores through those eight matches, but over the three years prior to being with Genoa, he was with Juventus, a club that he secured 18 goals from his 82 total starts with.

The signing of this strong striker has really boosted the overall hopes of securing the Serie A title. Lazio is currently third on the Italy Serie A table four points behind AC Milan and tied with second-place Napoli. Genoa, on the other hand, are in 13^th – 18 points behind leader AC Milan and 14 points behind third-place Lazio.
