NASCAR Nationwide Series – NAPA Auto Parts 200 Odds

North of the United States border is Canada and that’s exactly where the Nationwide Series will find themselves competing this Sunday – Montreal, Quebec, Canada for the NAPA Auto Parts 200.

Looking at the favorite coming into this race, it’s going to be Marcus Ambrose with Carl Edwards not far behind as well as Ron Fellows.  Ambrose is one of the few drivers that is considered to be a specialist on road courses, which is the main reason as to why he is the favorite to win this week’s race; however, as history shows, the specialists don’t always win so be sure to consider everything for road course races.  Ambrose has only participated in one other Nationwide race, in which he won and that was the Zippo 200 at The Glen.

Edwards has the next best odds behind road course specialist Ambrose and is also the defending champion of this particular race event.  While he is not a road course specialist so to speak, Edwards has the experience and very strong history when it comes to road courses.  He definitely has the skills to fit the bill.

The previous winners prior to Edwards were Ron Fellows as well as Kevin Harvick since this race has only occurred three times with the 2010 season being the fourth time.

Looking at Point Standings….

Brad Keslowski currently leads the 2010 Nationwide Series in points with Carl Edwards 313 points behind Keslowski in second.  Keslowski currently has four wins and 17 Top 5’s for this season with Edwards having two wins.  Third in points is Kyle Busch; however, Busch will not be participating in this week’s event – instead you can catch him at Friday night’s Camping World Truck Series race.

Get your bets placed and keep an eye out for qualifying and practice runs when placing those bets.  The NAPA Auto Parts 200 will take place this Sunday afternoon, August 29, at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve.
