A Riot Breaks Out After a Game in London

In London, there was a man who was stabbed because of violence that suddenly broke out outside of a football stadium. The police came and tried hard to stop the violence. Due to the crime and how much fighting was going on, they couldn’t help everyone. They just did what they could to stop the brawl as quickly as possible. Some of them couldn’t keep up with the fans, though, and one of the police might have even been knocked to the ground during the melee. The rioters  kicked the police and treated them with no respect. It was as if they were taking out all of their anger for their team losing and venting it against the police.

There were loads of police on the scene. As a matter of fact, there were hundreds of them, and mounted officers also assisted, joined by a helicopter. The fans did not stop just because the police were there on the scene. They continued throwing things like bottles. Not only did they throw bottles, but they even tossed bricks. To make matters worse, some people started fires. They were small, but they did do some damage.

Some fans are shocked that only two people have been arrested. That is mainly because officers found out that they had planned to cause this riot. Officers are planning to make more arrests later, after they have the proper evidence for each crime.

The man that was stabbed is 44 years old. He remains in stable condition. He was stabbed in the chest. They are keeping a close eye on him and hoping that the unfortunate man fully recovers from this tragedy. At this time, as far as the police know, he didn’t do anything wrong.

The police tried hard to separate the Millwall and West Ham Fans from each other. It was really hard for them to do because of how many people were involved with the fights. There is a lot of hate between the West Ham Fans and the Millwall fans. Some say this has been steaming up for awhile. The Millwall fans lost the game 3-1 and they had some extra time. Maybe it was because of the extra time that people started getting restless and mad. Millwall has had problems before with some of their fans getting out of control. They have tried hard to stop it but it doesn’t always happen.

Some people think that some of these fights happen because of bets that take place, and that’s why the Millwall fans might have gotten angry. Whatever the reason might be, the police will continue to stay on this investigation and the security for both teams will be even tighter the next time they play. After this fight, both sides have lost fans. There could be some that might not ever attend another game again because this really affected them when people started throwing bricks at each other.
