Fans Are Getting Ready For the Johnnie Walker Championships

The European Tour, along with golf fans from across the continent, will soon be headed to Gleneagles, Scotland for the Johnny Walker Championships.  Everyone is really pumped up about this year’s tournament. They feel that it will be the best one yet and most of them have already started betting on who will possibly be winning or who won’t be.

The only thing that frustrates the fans when something like The Johnnie Walker Championships happens is that they usually only win once and don’t win again. For that reason, it is really hard for them to decide who they should bet on. In addition, they have to remember that the person who won last year still has a chance at winning this year.

Many fans of the Johnnie Walker Championship are disappointed with the fact that Paul Casey, the famous English player, will not be playing this year. They are disappointed because in the year 2006 and earlier in 2001, he actually won both championships, which made European Tour history. Fans had hoped they could bet on him this year, but since he is not playing, they will be forced to either bet on someone else or not bet at all.

Gregory Havret, who is a French player, won the event at The Johnnie Walker Championships last year. 33,000 people watched as he won. Fans of Gregory Havret are actually not surprised because he has won the Championship in the French Amateur three years in a row. With his French Amateur record, people are hoping that he will keep it up again this year and make it into the history books in the Johnnie Walker Championships. If he does this, lots of doors will be opened and people will be betting on him by the thousands. Despite the fact that most people don’t bet on the same person twice two years in a row, they might actually be thinking about doing that this year because of Gregory Havret’s past success in the French Amateur. A lot of people have faith in Gregory Havret, and they really believe that he could actually pull off winning two years or more in a row. The question is whether he will actually make it to the top and win the 2014 Ryder Cup.

The 2014 Ryder Cup is also at stake in Gleneagles. People who join in at the Johnnie Walker Championships now might have a chance at winning the Ryder Cup later. These tournaments are vital for the players who want to qualify for the Ryder Cup. If they don’t do well with the games before 2014, it could mean that some of them might actually lose their career.
