My best bettingtips from bwin CSKA vs Inter

We have come to an interesting stage of the Champions League season 2009 / 2010 and are up to the second matches of the quarter finals.

Eight teams remaining and four matches left before the last four teams are ready for the Semi-finals and these four matches are divided into two days. On Tuesday we have CSKA Moscow vs. Inter Milan and Barcelona vs. Arsenal and the other two games will be played on Wednesday; Manchester United vs. Bayern Munchen and Girondins de Bordeaux vs. Olympique Lyon.

I have decide to concentrate on Tuesdays matches in this text and since It is so far into the tournament and lots of opportunities to place different bets I chosen to give you some more bettingtips then only 1-x-2 or over / under. So I will give you my analyzes in two different texts separately with all my bettingtips and the odds related to my tips.

CSKA Moscow vs. Inter Milan, odds: home win: 3.20   draw: 3.20   away win: 2.20

My bettingtips: Inter Milan to win (Away win) @ 2.20 in odds from bwin betting

Don’t forget that this game is an early match since it’s played in Russia. So it starts already at 18:30 CET which means that you get the chance to enjoy two Champions League matches on Tuesday separately.

After some bad years in the European Champions League Inter Milan now has a golden opportunity to go trough to the semi-finals again. They took a surprisingly win against Chelsea after have beating them both home and away in the first round and then got CSKA from Moscow in the quarter finals. And Inter Milan beat CSKA in the first game with 1 – 0 after a goal from their new striker Diego Milito which puts Inter Milan in a very comfortable position.

Naturally they go trough if they win or draw this return since they won home in Milan, but they even go trough to the semi-finals with any loose with one goal as long as they score. This means that Inter Milan can afford to loose with for example 2 – 1 or 3 – 2 in this game and still win totally by aggregate (more goals on away ground).

But even though Inter Milan doesn’t have to win this game I found them most likely to win and even the best odds value on the away win in this game. Inter has a strong team and their coach Jose Mourinho is an excellent match-coach. CSKA Moscow has to put all their forces on attack since they have to score at least two goals to go trough from this round. My feeling is that Inter Milan will play a strong position-play in their defence and then go for counter attacks when the opportunity comes, just as they outplayed Chelsea in the last round.

I have respect for CSKA Moscow and the other Russian teams now days since they have started to compete with the bigger teams even in Champions League. Both Zenith St. Petersburg and Rubin Kazan have shown great strength the last couple of years in the European Cups and they have spent lots of money on stronger players. Even the Russian players that play in these teams have developed much and approved that is that the Russian national squad reached semi-finals in the last European Championship (2008).

But with the last game in mind they still have a gap to the best teams in Europe and it will probably take another couple of years before the Russian and Ukrainian teams can compete for finals and trophy winners in Champions League. Because Inter was much better in the first game and outplayed CSKA in the second half. It was way closer 2 – 0 for Inter then 1 – 1 for CSKA after Inters goal and with players like Mario Balotelli, Samuel Etoó, and Diego Milito etcetera on top they will for sure score sooner or later. So I bet that Inter Milan win this game to the odds at 2.20.

Halftime standing – draw @ 2.05 in odds

This is another bet that I find interesting in this game. As I wrote above my guess is that Inter Milan will tighten up their defence and go for counter attacks. My feeling is that CSKA probably will start this game best and try to score an early goal while Inter will try to hold on with 0 – 0 for as long time as possible. I think that the chances that the score is draw after 45 minutes is about 55 – 60 % and that gives me an odds value betting on draw at half time, 0 – 0 is not a wild guess as half time score, but I am glad as long as it’s draw. Then if the score is 0 – 0, 1 – 1 or 2 – 2 doesn’t matter for my win.

For those who wants to bet on Half time / Full time X / 2 is an interesting bet as well since I think that Inter will win the game and that the standing will be draw after half time. But since I already have placed these two bets separately I don’t think it’s necessary to bet on this bet as well.
