Who Will End up With the Phoenix Coyotes

The Phoenix Coyotes suffered a serious blow when Jerry Reinsdorft decided not to be a buyer of the struggling franchise. Both American and Canadian investors, along with the NHL, are helping to keep the team alive and functional by putting some bids in with the Bankruptcy court in the USA, in the hopes that one of them can buy the team.

People are not sure right now who has the highest bid. Ice Edge Holdings also placed a bid a few hours after the NHL put in theirs. Everyone is fighting to claim the Phoenix Coyotes and hoping the court rules in their favor.  The NHL had a hockey plan that would have helped them to revitalize in the southwestern part of the United States, including Arizona. However, it got turned down, because the parties involved did not meet the deadline. There are also rumors that some of the information was misleading regarding the NHL plan.

Since there was misleading information given, it has made it harder for anyone to agree about the team. It’s making people very frustrated up to the point that some of the parties thinking about buying the team might actually step away from it.

Despite all of the misleading information given, it looks like there has been some success with Glendale, and the success has been confirmed by the officials of Ice Edge. The thing with the Phoenix Coyotes is that the organization alone offers some really good opportunities for all kinds of people in Hockey. They plan on building up the team and just making it better.

Ice Edge confirms that they would be willing to pay the staggering amount of $150 million for the team. Jim Balsillie, who is known as a billionaire in Canada, said that he would offer $215.5 million towards the team. NHL and the Ice Edge only stand a chance of winning if the Judge, Redfield T.Baum, decides that he doesn’t want Balsillie’s help on it. If the judge rules in favor of Balsillie, Jerry Moyes would get $104 million out of $300 million.

The Ice Edge and NHL won’t be offering Moyes very much. Some wonder if he will be getting anything at all from them out of the deal. That could make the judge think really hard about this and might even influence the judge’s decision. It’s like the old saying, “When the coach is happy, everyone is happy. When the coach is mad, everyone runs.”

The Phoenix Coyotes are just hoping for the best and that whoever wins the bet will work to make their team shine in the end so fans will continue betting for their team. Some people are betting on them this much because they think that this will cause a major distraction. They want to see who actually ends up with the team and whether they will end up helping the Phoenix Coyotes much or not.
